Last Sunday we had a little party for my nephew Sean Alex that turned a year old on the 5th of this month. He and his cousin Lawrence had a fun time playing on the play corner that Claire set up in the living room especially for his birthday. He got to try for the first time chocolate which he loved immensely and enjoyed it more than his presents, wrapping and all...ha!

Yes, this winter is more cold then usual here in Canada. We're having temperatures of 21 below zero this year in the city of Toronto. And oh my God I've never experience such a swift drop in temperature, sometimes having a warmer morning and then going outside again and finding out that it dropped down 10 °C more. Oh well but the kids are having fun with all the snow. Last night we had 5 inches of snow, we took out our toboggans and the kids had a blast playing with all that bunch of snow...
